Open Crib for Cooper Today

The process of checking out is starting for Cooper. One of the initial steps is to take the babies out of the isolate and to place them in an open crib. The same open crib you typically see in any hospital nursery, the one difference is these guys are still in the NICU and will remain there until they leave. Cooper is on 8 bottles which is the max he can take in a day. Major is on three so you can see we still have a little ways to go with him. As for Cooper's arrival date it is looking like Monday. They still have the sleep test to do some time this weekend.

Joshua had his first official checkup yesterday. He checked out A OK on all accounts. We did get a new weight for him which you will see below. It seems as if Caleb really likes his little brother. Yesterday morning when he woke up he came running into the living room to tell him good morning.

You guys ever watch the local morning news? I do now as it really is the only thing on (we don't have cable) when I get up. I can not imagine what time those poor people have to get up, or for that matter what time they have to go to bed at night?

Here are the new weights:
Cooper 7.9.7
Joshua 6.13
Major 7.9.9

So who is going to win the super bowl and what will be the score? For those who have never commented feel free to post - it would be good to hear from you. My pick - Indy 37 to 13.

For those of you getting snow enjoy, for those of us with no rain - celebrate :-)

Enjoy the day!

I am so happy for you. GO COOPER GO. I love to go to work and see that you have been blessed and taken another one home.
Super Bowl? Is that where the trips eat really fast and let mommy and daddy go to be early??????
