Sorry It's Been A While

We are doing well. As you would guess we are a little sleep deprived but in a good way. Major is still hanging out in the NICU. They are doing additional tests to determine what might be causing his dislike to the bottle. The Dr's have also said he may just come home on the tubes. We should know more in the next couple of days. If you are able please say a prayer for Major.

As for the other two they are doing really well. Cooper is really in to sleeping, the only issue is he sometimes does it in the middle of eating. Once he decides to shut it down it becomes almost impossible to reverse his decision. Joshua on the other hand is all about eating. They are fed every three hours right now and I can assure you Joshua is ready every three hours. In fact if he notices one of us are sleeping on the couch he will start yelling (crying) at us to wake up at the two an half hour mark just to make sure we are ready to go at the magic three hours. Right now it takes longer for his bottle to heat up then it does for him to drink it.

Caleb is being great about all this. He is still wants to get in the middle on occasion but as long as one of us is dedicated to him he seems to be fine. He got a few new books yesterday from Aunt Winkie, he really loves the one that sings.

Take care all,

WPMJCC

btw.... if anyone has any secrets on burping please share them. Sometimes it takes one pat or rub, other times it takes 59845 pats and rubs and then they just fall a sleep.

Happy Valentine's to all of you brave hearts! Sometimes if you sit the baby on the side of your leg while letting them lean into your hand then use the other hand to pat the back while gently bouncing your leg seems to help them burp plus keeps them awake. After reading this again, it sounds a little bizarre, but just wait, Nana is trying her best to exterminate this family of viruses and will be willing and able to bounce and pat...at the same time! I can't wait! And Major, we're all praying for you to join this circle (or circus) of love soon! You have one amazing family, baby boy! Love to all, Nana
